STUDENT'S REBUILD
FACING DIFFERENCE CHALLENGE 2017
TEAM WE HEAL THE WORLD
What is Students Rebuild?
Students Rebuild seeks to inspire young people to connect, learn, and take collective action on critical global issues. This happens through annual Challenges which offer young people a chance to learn about the issue; connect with global peers; and to create a simple, symbolic art piece which the Bezos Family Foundation matches with funding. We believe every young person should have an opportunity to help others. Our approach allows students around the world, of all ages and backgrounds, to take action and raise awareness on issues young people care about. You can learn more about Students Rebuild, our mission, and past Challenges here
This year, students participating in the Facing Difference Challenge will support three great programs in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and the South Caucasus region. All the programs are working to help young people overcome conflict and tension related to difference and to build peace. Learn more about the program and project partners on the Student's Rebuild site.
Each portrait submitted to Students Rebuild will be matched with a $3 donation from the Bezos Family Foundation—up to $600,000—to support peacebuilding programs in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and the South Caucasus region of Eastern Europe.
